Enjoy the hospice cocktail of morphine an ativan! Be aware that you need to say your goodbyes before it is administered as you wont have a coherent moment afterward. They will say "it will help the breathing" when morphine causes respiratory failure.
The vast majority of hospice patients die from acute morphine poisoning. But dying sucks any way you look at it.

cancer is probably the worst way to go or any illness where your body just slowly loses the battle and deteriorates.
One of the scariest thoughts I have is I'm partly convinced if I ever get a serious cancer or disease , I might go buy my first gun ever and put it in my mouth and pull the trigger.
If you were betting on how I die, suicide would be the overwhelming favorite. Now, whether it was impulse or premeditated would be another question. I know myself, and I know I'm not the type of person who can waste away in a bed. It's likely I'll die on my own terms (but not a guarantee, obviously, I've been in enough accidents to understand this) with my loved ones knowing when I'm making the choice.
