I'm looking to get a headset, unsure of what to go for. Not realty looking for anything too expensive. Preferably under $70 or so. Just using it for casual FPS mostly and sound whoring. I know some of them come with the adapter built in, or at least some turtle beach do. That would a plus as well. Suggestions?

My nephew got a pair of turtle beaches and I thought they were pretty okay but if you ask around people will say they are shit. Maybe go extended warranty if you go this route.

I have an older set of turtle beach x42, and they work great on my 360 and One. Just needed a $4 adapter for the One controller that I got on amazon.

Bought them here through the RLT forum so I traded a few hours worth of D2 time for them. Very happy with the set. Nothing super fancy but they are leagues better than the stock xbox headset.

I personally think turtle beaches give to much feedback. I recently got the actual xbox headset that's from the marketplace on xbox one and I love it, best headset I've had so far. You can find these headsets in stores also.

Everyone I know with Xbox headset has a massive echo not related to tv volume. Know multiple people that have switched. Wouldn't suggest this headset if you want other people not to be annoyed by you echoing everything that is not said by you.

You won't hear the echo as the user and we could not solve the issue for the people we know have it.

Well if you find a way to test these out I would recommend it. The xo ones you can get at a Wal-Mart if you don't like them you can always return them with in a month or 3 depending on which one you go to.
