looking at x pipes with a flowmaster 40 series 2.5"??


its the 4.6 L in an F-150 FX 2 Package

best way to improve performance//economy...? cat back x pipes ?

You will see no performance or economy gains from an axle back. It will purely be for sound so pick the one you like the sound of best.

I went with the bone stock cheapest setup I could find, thinking it would be temporary (and it still might be)


$200, for intermediary, muffler, tailpipe, clamps, and gaskets

Torqued off a fucking bolt so that cost me $200 to have repaired (I don't have a welder)

It is quiet but it has a nice note and a low growl that is really pretty nice
