Team Needs:
Wide Receiver: The Eagles appear to have a franchise quarterback. Now, they need to build around him. That involves finding a No. 1 receiver, as Jordan Matthews figures to be nothing more than a solid second option. I'm sure Philadelphia will consider Clemson's Mike Williams with Minnesota's first-round pick. Signed Alshon Jeffery and Torrey Smith

Two Cornerbacks: Philadelphia's defense has some major strengths, but a big liability happens to be at cornerback. The Eagles' corners can't cover anyone. They need at least two new ones, so a first-round choice could be used on the position. Signed with Patrick Robinson

Running Back: Doug Pederson played musical chairs with his starting running backs this past season because he didn't have any confidence in any of them. Ryan Mathews was the best of the bunch, but he's too injury-prone to be deemed reliable. The Eagles will have to use an early pick on a running back.

Center: Jason Kelce has devolved into one of the worst centers in the NFL. The Eagles could use a second-day pick on a much-needed upgrade at one of the most important positions in football. Re-signed Stefen Wisniewski

Offensive Tackle: Jason Peters won't be around much longer, so once he leaves, Lane Johnson will move to left tackle, creating a hole on the right side. Besides, some insurance is needed just in case Johnson is suspended again.

Defensive Tackle: Bennie Logan is a stout, run-stuffing defensive tackle, but he also happens to be an impending free agent who should be re-signed if the Eagles want to continue playing the rush well. Traded for Timmy Jernigan

Interior Offensive Line Depth: Stefen Wisniewski did a great job as a reserve lineman this past year, but he's an impending free agent, and he's good enough to start for someone else.

Kicker: Caleb Sturgis is set to hit free agency in March.

I think in this scenario it's probably an easy vote for Cook. Maybe Conley but Cook is a stud and would help Wentz a lot having a reliable run game.

The pick has got to be a corner. The ones they still have make opponents receivers look lubed up with baby oil.

Everybody says having multiple good RBs is a good problem to have.. I disgree. Not to mention all of the RBs they have are mediocre at best. IF the pick is Dalvin, they need to commit to him

Problem with taking corner in the first round is there's likely to be an incredibly talented corner in the second round. Obviously you can't predict what will happen but if you need a corner this year, I say wait, you'll get more all around talent taking another position in the first and a corner in the second.

With the 14th pick in the 2017 JSP NFL Draft, the Philadelphia Eagles select Dalvin Cook, RB, Florida State

Corey Davis

i'd probably be pretty upset with a CB in the first rd not named Lattimore. Sidney Jones would have been legit too.

Davis/Cook/Barnett/Foster

edit:

Seumalo is ready to start at center, Kelce will probably get traded sometime this year, but it won't even hurt them.

Jason Peters will be gone, but Vaitai has shown he can somewhat play at RT when he filled in for Lane Johnson.

Lane Johnson hasn't played on the right side but figures we should be solid there. Just signed Chance Warmack to compete for some LG playing time.

Chance Warmack played with Stoutland at Alabama and signed here to work with him again. Warmack was a can't miss prospect at Guard coming out of college but has been disappointing. He's on a prove-it deal with the eagles reuniting with his old coach.

We can grab some Oline depth, but not necessary in the first round.

I can't imagine they'd consider a WR in the first at this point. I mean it wouldn't be a bad move since Alshon is only on the prove it but I can't see them even considering it.

Yep, Jordan Matthews needs to get paid soon and I am not sure If I want that if we have to pay Alshon this season as well once he tears it up. Corey Davis would be the perfect compliment to Torrey Smith/Alshon Jeffery. Even if Torrey is trash now it probably doesn't matter. Jeffery/Davis would be a nightmare for opposing CB's to deal with on a nightly basis.

The eagles should probably trade him, he's a good dude, but I don't know if his future is here. The Eagles need to give Wentz weapons and now, I don't want to deal with another McNabb throwing to todd pinkstons/freddie mitchells for their best years.

All the eagles WR's are essentially on 1 year deals right now, the eagles can't keep this whole core, and with Agholor being a complete bust, the Eagles might need to look into drafting a WR who is probably also BPA.
