Okay, so she isn't wrong. If Comey didn't decide 2 weeks prior to the election to do a deeper dive, she probably would've won, I think. I think that gave people the reason/excuse they needed to vote Trump. I'll give her that.
She's so disillusioned to why she lost though. It's clear that she thinks she's very likeable and that she has a personality that people want to see as president. She just doesn't. Poll after poll was flurried with "I just don't like her" type of comments. She's dull, boring, she's been around the game too long (the exact opposite of why dems voted in Obama), she has ties to tons of corporations just as any long time politician typically would. She just has nothing exciting. She didn't have any plans that excited people. Bernie had some farfetched uber government plans with student loans, healthcare, education, taxes, etc., but at least he could inspire. Trump was outlandish, but he spoke to what a lot of people wanted: candor, a certain "I don't give a fuck about political correctness" that people have been yearning for, he said what a lot of people are afraid to say (but feel) about illegal immigrants and refugees. So the moderates who probably would've voted Obama for a 3rd term, and wanted to vote democrat, really didn't have a strong reason to and Hillary gave them nothing to look forward to, whereas at least Trump was direct, even if some of it was a bit off-putting to a moderate. Hillary just said cookie cutter standard template stuff on major issues that was completely expected and dull. Nobody wanted 4 years of just coasting along and she missed that mark.
That's my take.
So fucking what? Why do politicians need to be exciting? Trump is exciting. Fuck exciting. I'll take boring over incompetent any day.
