have you ever noticed that if two gangs fighting each other and a third party intervenes neither of those gangs likes the interference?

Have you ever noticed that when people look at complicated dynamics they don't understand, they come up with completely wrong and backwards bullshit assumptions?
The kinds of people who think chilling armor 'eats projectiles' and ban it in Zon vs Zon, or who put facets in their trapper claws, or who think desync is caused by having some specific % frw
The complex dynamics in the sectarian conflict are one big noodly ball, but they obey a basic logic. Astute political observers are able to navigate the intricate motivations. Some motivations are simple
If you just say "its complicated" and then come up with a completely ass backwards wrong answer, it doesn't excuse it or make it right, theres no wiggle room

The kinds of terrorists who attack in the west are not whatsoever motivated by west attacking assad, and if anything, are far less likely to attack and rethink their jihad. That isn't hard to piece together. If you can't understand something that basic, you should just wave an american flag and say "fuck brown people bomb the kaaba" because thats a far more consistent and acceptable worldview for the ignorant

Goomshill schooling the simpletons, nothing new to see here.

Interesting how things are going to shape out with the war of words between us and the Russians over this. There was a brief moment when i thought this might be some back channel way of the Russians hacking out a deal with the Turks and basically giving Assad up for a bigger partner but the latest news doesn't suggest their support for Assad to be fainting. Trump even talking about sanctions on Russia and Iran over supporting Assad.

It's really astounding the stupidity of people thinking Trump is some Russian mole when you look at the geopolitics right before our eyes. You really need some serious cognitive dissonance to reach some of these conclusions when real world events keep slamming these outlandish claims.

The Democrats stopped using real arguments a long time ago - after the world learned that Communism is a deadly failure. The Democrats now resort to identity politics and uncontrolled immigration combined with narrative-wide lies to win elections.

Have you ever noticed that interational conflict is nothing like a gang war?

And religion was not the primary motivating factor in the troubles, and no historian or contemporary worth a damn would ever claim it was. The factions involved intentionally avoided explicit religious grounds, but were divided along ethnic-nationalist political lines. Meanwhile the primary motivating factor for sunni terrorism is sunni islam hurr durr. The unifying factor between the St. Cloud attacker who grew up in prosperous minnesota with all the benefits of middle class america, and the 9/11 hijackers, and the pinoys of abu sayyaf is, drumroll, dun dun dun, islam.

Religion was definitely a factor in the Yugoslavian civil war. The differences were not just between Croats, Serbs and Bosnians, but Catholic Croats, Orthodox Serbs and Muslim Bosnians. And believe you me, that distinction was important.

A mole and a tool are different things.

Russia wants a weaker America, it doesn't hide It. It has a lot to gain by a Trump presidency.

A senior U.S. official told the news outlet that the presence of a drone, controlled by Russia, over the hospital where victims were being treated following the attack was not a coincidence.

I don't believe it. I went to Russia once and the people were somewhat friendly.
