Hi, maybe someone will be able to provide some info. I have an old unused computer and every now and then I want to play some d3. Not enough to buy a new pc specifically for that game, so here's a question: what level of performance difference can I expect between the start of the game and endgame with rifts, tons of monsters and effects, etc?
I managed to get a starter copy of D3 to run at 50-70fps at the lowest settings/resolution, but at the beginning of act 1. I know it'll drop a lot later, but by how much approximately? Will it be 40fps or more like 4? :D Can't check it for myself with a starter account.
The PC is very low end, socket 775 dual core cpu, 8600gts gpu

You can solo rift and you should be okay. High tier group rifts make even good computers lag.

High end rifts haven't caused FPS drops with decent PC since season 2 or 3. The lag is server side.
