After playing LoD since patch 1.09 on and off for what feels like ever. Ive decided to only play Classic.
From what i can tell, the classic community seems much more "real" and interested in the game as a whole, not just endless botting to get perfect gear. Not to mention you get to play with epic rare gears and not just the standard cookie cutter runewords on LoD.
A few questions:
- Are most of the classic guides up to date?
- Are there active in game channels for classic? if not im interested in starting one. have many keys and I can hold a channel 24/7.
- is LLD popular on classic? if so im highly interested. i have not played an lld since 1.10
I work 60+ hours a week as a scuba diver for specialized repairs in swimming pools and have a 6 month old baby, so most of my time is spoken for. But my girl knows diablo has always been a release for me so i always make time late night/weekends for some gaming. Would defiantly like to get more community involved & connect with active players.

Classic guides are quite alright, hammerdin, baba and sorc should be most up to date as they are the most played
Usually there are some channels that pop up during the start of a new ladder, but most channels tend to be private.
LLD isnt popular but if u find people who have put a lot of time into this game they tend to have a few lld chars
however lld is more a thing in non ladder if at all.
also what realm are we speaking of ? As the answers might varie alot dependant on the realm - im speaking about euro atm
