hey i want to buy a card because mic ports for skype connections no longer do the job
intended for home use but a possibility for live recordings
external usb, or firewire, even though i guess 3.0 will be just as good (my current pc probably doesnt support it but i might be upgrading in some time)
needs at least 2 xlr/trs inputs and hopefully at least 2 more balanced inputs, an equal number of balanced outputs would be nice, obviously with phantom power
decent preamps, as least noise as possible, a stable interaction with the computer drivers
give me a few brands first of all because im very uneducated on the subject and eventually some good models. wont be looking for something with 10 inputs because i wont be getting into concert recording anytime soon. thanks and have a good time
