I didn't know they were doing that. Kinda glad. That way it isn't all condensed into a 2.5 hour movie.

I wonder how long it will be until part 2 comes out.


The last horror movie that really wowed me was The Babadook. I think this has potential to be on that level.

I was hoping they wasnt going to go the route as the mini series back in the day with them as grown ups

sure most remakes suck and certainly aren't needed.

But have you seen the original? It's hardly the polished article, King himself said he wasn't too impressed with it.

The original was a made for tv two-part miniseries and while Tim Curry is completely amazing as pennywise, the movie was alright for me when i was a kid. Just alright,

But like so many in the world i'm a huge King fanboy. So to see a decent budget go into making an actual true to form movie has got me excited.

Better this way, at least now they wont have to try to cram everything in one movie and end up leaving out things.

I'm tired of the remake game as well, but I am happy to see a movie that actually needs a remake, get one. I'd also be happy if they did the Stand again. The series they did both for It and the Stand, just don't justify how great the books were at all.
