Looks like a proper remake from what I've seen here. Staying true to original is definitely a good idea, especially for a Stephen King story. I wonder if they are making it a 2 part thing?

Looks fantastic....

Book terrified me as a kid, movie was pretty good. Typical Stephen King though, 99% amazing, with a shit fucking ending, because King can't help himself.

I don't know if I'm going to see it opening night or wait until part 2 comes out and watch both at the same time. Glad they're still sticking with the duology format though, it wouldn't do it any justice to mash the children and adult storylines together.
