Used to do alot of uppers in high school, totally wrecked my brain for a few years and fucked my motivation when I quit. Terrible stuff. Imposed a very rigid worldview on me and I became an egomaniac. It was weird.

The ideology, and those who followed it, killed zero people.

The problem is that people abuse this ideology to justify thought control. Stalin, for instance, was hardly a communist -- he just called his regime communism because that made it seem like he cared about the people he ruled over.
