They were so worried about player base. Putting in a ranked mode would have brought people to the game. The simple fact they did not put in a ranked playlist turned people away. I love borderlands and the like but gearbox took the biggest possible shit in the bed imaginable.

Meh. It was pretty clear that it wasn't going to be successful from the time it was announced, I doubt many people would have came because of ranked

The same people that would have possibly been brought in by that just got overwatch anyway
