you need to be careful when you read that. but since i caught it before it got out of control:
what i said doesn't mean thresher is a terrible of a weapon like CV (it's "pretty good", as you have put it) but there are a lot of people who speak of thresher being the hottest shit ever, similar to how a lot of people overrates cv.

like i wouldn't make an infinity out of thresher on a character i care about.

Giant Thresher is the only base better than Thresher for Infinity, and it's a minuscule difference. (Literally .5 more average base damage L)
Unless you plan on wielding the Infinity yourself, which is unideal for PVM, Thresher/Giant Thresher are king..

I wasn't trying to sound like a dick, I was just trying to get some perspective on where you were coming from.

Lots of people pick Thresher cuz of the speed of the weapon. Giant Thresher is better damage wise by a hair, but requirements are more.
