I have 20 mbps internet. when i speed test it is always between 19.99 mbps and 20.01 due to my close proximity to the hub i assume. it's not good internet but it's very stable and works for me.

i get some people need to max graphics to enjoy the game but i always had the opposite mindset. I tuned down the graphics as far as i could so that lag would be reduced as much as possible. I'd play WoW pvp in as low of settings as possible to cut any possible lag for instance.

But server side lag and hardware lag are 2 completely different things.

i may be confused on that but the distinction for me is moot. i turn down graphics to bare minimum in all PVP games to lower the lag potential. whether that's lag from my graphics or anything else.
