which would be even longer without a gpu... atm I'm using a laptop with 750m... computer will need at minimum a 1070 to run Syndicate. if I'm spending $400 on a gpu now, I might as well spend $500 now and at least get a year out of it

1070 is overkill for syndicate.....

1070 might be overkill for syndicate at 720p but like I said, I'm not going to be playing at 720p.

game would run fine on 1440p with a 1070....

literally doesn't matter... gtx 1070 at 1440p runs syndicate at 40 fps max with an i7-6700k and 16gb ddr4. at 4k max settings, syndicate runs at less than 20 fps on 1070.

I didn't just throw a pc together without doing any research. I started off looking at the 1070 @ 1080p but I want to upgrade my monitor now and if I'm going to upgrade my monitor I'm going to want to play at higher resolutions which means I'm going to need a beefier gpu.

which is why the 1070 is not even listed.
