What this probably means is that if they don't find anything, Trump won't be able to use the good ol' deep state excuse.

Because politicians always make promises in public they don't intend to or can't keep. That's a wholly different standard from communicating specific intentions and negotiating exchanges with specific foreign actors.

I know you know that foreign policy isn't conducted on public but when it comes to Trump your knowledge all goes out the door when its inconvenient

What the hairy horse fuck is this bullshit? Once a President-Elect is official, the transition team is SUPPOSED to make overtures towards foreign diplomats and heads of state. We WANT them to start building up a working relationship, so that they continue going about politics politically, rather than with bombs.

FFS, Biden's not even the confirmed President Elect yet, as Trump hasn't conceded and there's not even been an EC vote, yet his team's been dealing with foreign heads of state for a month. Nobody's calling for his head on a spike, because we aren't idiots.

There's a difference between establishing connections with foreign heads of state and actively undermining the current administration with requests for specific action.

Hell, there's even a difference between signaling intentions or announcing priorities and actively undermining the current administration with requests for specific action.

This is just another case where you came to a conclusion before you actually knew anything about the situation because you're a very emotional person.

It's fine to be emotional btw. It's just annoying and pretty unhealthy that you resist acknowledging your own emotional response. It prevents you from calming down and thinking things through.

No, even you can't be that stupid. I don't even need to be a politician to say, "Hey uh... Russian guy? You speak English? Can you tell Putin not to bomb us until after the election? At least get our shit together before starting WWIII? Thanks mate!"

The level of duh involved in everything you're saying is beyond the pale. Outgoing administrations' priorities are not the concern of incoming administrations. That Obama was trying to push Trump into a war with Russia was pretty clear. That Trump wasn't that stupid is also very evident.

You need to curb your unreasoning desire to attempt to excuse literally everything "your guy" does while pointing a finger at everything "the other guy" does and claiming it's bad. Seriously. Chill out, kiddo.

This is such a stupid take, and really demonstrates you don't know what happened.

Worthless statement. Biden's team engages with foreign leaders for a month and he's not even legally President Elect yet. How many people do you hear shouting, "Lock them up!" No. There's a good chance he'll be the incoming administration, and he's not going out trying to arrange his personal politics for the nation. He's working to transition the national agenda smoothly into his administration. Just like the Trump team did.

Be consistent, or simply shut the fuck up.

Barr out. He left with a letter sucking up to Trump and replaying the "Russia hoax!" nonsense. One of the most corrupt AGs in modern history.
