this is the worst fuckin idea ever, dont even touch fuckin SC1 its a god damn classic. remastering old dead but legendary games ruins the feeling fuck you blizzard. Starcraft 2 was supposed to be the big game and you fucked it up sell your company.

You need to calm down. They aren't changing SC1. There will be 2 clients. SC1 and SC1 Remastered. They will be able to play with eachother and against. The only thing they're doing to the SC1 client is making it more compatible with more modern technology.

actually both will be in the same client.

pretty sure you'll have the option to purchase the ''hd'' mode or w.e its called

if not you'll have the old BW graphics but within the same client

Also you'll be able to press 1 button to turn into old graphic


otherwise they'll have to patch the current SC and have it connect to modern b.net and change the in game match making ? seems really hard for nothing

there's a shit ton of people entering the channels/leaving.

There could be even more when game is free.. which would be fucking nuts even in 2007 there weren't that many people as far as I remember.

Hopefully it stays like that till the remaster releases!
