afaik the diminishing return things isn't really a factor as long as your killspeed isn't negatively effected.
simple example:
High mf: if u can kill 100 monsters an hour which each have a 1% chance of dropping something nice, you'll get 1 nice thing per hour on average.
Low mf: if u can kill 1000 monsters and hour and each have a .5% chance of dropping something nice you'll get 5 nice things per hour on average.
don't trade in an occy and splendor for a 6 ist cs and 4 ist monarch. you'll kill much less and only have a slightly higher chance to drop good items.
but overall the "how much mf is good" question is nonsensical without knowing your class, gear, and where you're mfing. its like asking "what car is best" without knowing how many kids u have, what ur budget is, and what ur commute is.
its Hammerdin and yeah I mean I'm really just swapping out runes and items that aren't + to skills
Boots/Runes/ etc
