I dont think I ever saw a pic of you except those 09s in ur profile xD

You're probably right. I've never been the type to take pics, even when I was bodybuilding. My parents may still have some of my body pics from back then, although those would be polaroids, not pics taken from a phone. I looked around for old stuff the last time I visited them and I found one polaroid of a triceps shot I had taken just b/c my dad wanted to compare our triceps. I've thought about taking seasonal pics just to see the contrast because my body changes a lot between off-season, pre-season, basketball season, and post-season.

That's my bad for being lazy. I've always been more interested in the mirror than the camera, but even then I've never been all that concerned with how I look to others. To me, bodybuilding was about building my own aesthetic, which is why I didn't compete (I nearly did, don't get me wrong).

Our gym reno's are almost done and I'm 99% sure my wife will snap some pics of me for marketing etc., so I'll have to remember to post some. The guys at basketball seem to think I look pretty big, but I'm 5'11, lately 185-195, probs about 13% bf (visible 6 pack but not shredded brah). I may drop some weight and lose some bf for functional reasons, or I may gain a little and then drop to pursue some strength gains. But I'm in no rush as my league was cancelled this season until further notice. I still play with the guys from the league, but now it's like a year long summer league thing.

I've been posting since probably 2010, lurked a bit before that.

This place really helped me get a good start when hitting the gym.

As in you started your own gym? Just an average gym or more of a complex with other facilities?

Oh hi! I've been training like ~280-300 days a year for the past few years and I reached all the goals I thought I wouldn't reach when I first started. I've competed in 10 powerlifting meets and I'm starting to mix Olympic lifting back in. Grand goal is to be a great strength athlete. Other than that I'm a PE Teacher since mai 2013 but I've been working full time only for the past 2 years.

Oh shit, PE teacher eh? Congrats man, totally seems like a career I could see you in.

Checking in.
Can confirm, though, the sheer luck of ending up in this subforum was auspicious for my life all those years ago. Started me out immediately with good basic knowledge of lifting/nutrition, etc, to move on from there.

Seriously though, for originally being a place for video game nonsense, to find our way into here was pretty lucky. Learned so much from such an unlikely source lol.

Jimmy where you at and how much can you bench??
