Is anyone legit thinking of going hydras this next season?

Just curious if anyone read anything that I didn't about that build

only thing i heard for 2.5 regarding hydras was how it procs manald ring, nothing else.

for wizard specifically, which will be my secondary character, i had a thought about rimehart + winter flurry + fragment of destiny + delsere belt + dmo
and only because dmo got buffed, but no clue how it would turn out. i would expect to able to ~ gr60, but prolly not much more.
