For a everyday tire huge grip isnt needed i guess. Good tread wear ist the biggest Point i guess. If you want Performance you have to sacrifice either a louder tire or Bad tread wear.
I'd go with the cheapest tire around for everyday driving.

I had a set of Grandtrek AT's and they cost me $400 and didn't even last me 15k miles....I got $160 in credit for them towards the much better Michelin defenders I put on...My friends dad has the same pair and they looked brand new, asked him how long ago he put them on and he had to think about it and came back with 30k miles
I fully expect to get 50-60k miles out of these, and they are warrantied to 80k so there may even be some residual value on trade in
So to recap
$400, 15k miles
$800, 50-60k miles
Not to even mention shorter braking distances, better traction in the wet, it is a wider tire (265 vs 245), and better ride (because trust me, good tires effect how smooth your ride is by a lot
