It came already set up in raid, I have no idea how to change that or what to do.

I got no idea what to change in the bios though. The main bios doesn't have any setting for hard drives other then boot options and the post screen for the SSD specifically doesn't have much on it.

Here's how RAID works...sort of.

For RAID 1 or 0, they just use two identical hard drives and the data is stored mirrored (same on each drive) or spanned with 1/2 on each drive.

SSD not being recognized is probably just because it isn't formatted.

For the OS though...IF you want it on the SSD, you will have to do a clean install of Windows.

/e This program MAY be able to SEE the SSD in Windows...

How do I format the SSD if it's not showing up under disk management?

Alot of what I've been reading suggests I might have to just reinstall windows onto the SSD for it to recognize it, is that a possibility?

No. No matter what they did with the existing hard drives...it should show up in Windows. EaseUS Partition Master is great at seeing drives that disk management ....can't.

/e I assume you have the Sata cable and the power cable...hooked to the SSD...right? :)

I tried using EaseUS but it's not showing it either.

Edit: It doesn't use sata or power from what I can see, just plug into pcie.

Is that EaseUS Partition Master?

That doesn't look like EaseUS. I do have and older version, but...

Yeah I forgot about that. I think I said before, I'm not sure if your motherboard can see the SSD in the PCI-e slot. I DL'd your manual, and it doesn't even mention RAID, which the manual usually does.

But I would try EaseUS and see if that program can SEE the SSD.

You don't need identical drives for raid

Op you might not get that ssd to be bootable considering older boards need drivers installed before they can be seen by Windows

I clicked the link you gave me and downloaded the program. But if my motherboard can't recognize it why can I see it in bios?
