If you are not going for over 60hz at least go for IPS instead of TN.

hmmm.... I'm looking for a 1440p monitor around that price however, are there any TN out there? Or do I have to up my price for 1440p 60hz?

Tn and ips difference is in the colors and viewing angle. (Afaik)

This, And a single 1070 wont push 144fps at 1440p.
