Thought about firing up a bow zon untwinked in my free time.

Im doing research as I post but what's the preferred skill route through Norm, NM and then I imagine you respec somewhere in there for Hell.

Can someone break it down for me? My zon experience isnt too great for untwinked.

Dodge/Critical/Pierce/passives/valk...
Fire for norm then change at hell?

How would you guys spend them points?

It will most likely be a glass cannon because what else are you gonna do with those points

Normal and nightmare go for exploading arrow and immolation arrow.
lvl 12 exploading arrow and at 19 you get 3 ral rune bow from countess runs, that makes normal quite easy. Switch with jab+shield(res) and maybe craft a pair of blood gloves before diablo and jab him down.

Hell is much harder but I got lucky with finding 4s +3 gmb grand matron bow in like the 4th pit run so Harmony runeword carried me through the game( I also restatted and went hybrid freezing arrow+immolation arrow).

Bow zone is definitely one of those things where it's not exactly fun until you have found that faith or WF lol .

And yes airwaves I was reading through a few of them.
I just didn't want to spend the points wrong.
I never know with zon bc there's so many options with crit Dodge evade etc etc. I'd imagine Dodge evasion not so helpful with glass cannon anyways bc if you get hit you're likely dead anyways lol

Info based on Hardcore:

Vitality: get to 50 base in normal upto Diablo, then go 75 until you reach Nightmare Act5, then upto 100 or 125, once in Hell, 150 base.
Passives: I prefer 1 point crit and maxed out Valk, you will be relying on Valk right upto Ancients Hell Diff unless you have good gear.
Bow Skills: Dependent on your preference, mine is Strafe with Freezing Arrow, you will need ML and or MaeK items to sustain Mana Consumption -
....... 1 Base Freezing Arrow and max out Cold Arrow [Think this gives cold damage synergy], you do not need the other synergy for freeze length
....... when using cold damage items like small charms, gloves, belts etc.

If lucky, your first bow could be Witchwild, this can be used to even complete the game, twitchroe armor is also useful, you need to use items that
benefit your zon's survivability rate. Also, you will definately want to find Razortail belt.

End Note: a lot of people hate Strafe, that is because they don't have the patience to use effectively... I prefer it because it does 100% more
damage than Multi Shot and comes in handy vs a single hard monster/boss.

My biggest question was really how to spend the passives and which how skills.
I have always been bored by strafe but if it's good I'd explore it I guess.
Even when having all the best gear in battlenet strafe really seems to suck hard haha so I'd need to look further into to that.

Plus no animation vs a fire or cold animation to help alleviate the bordem am I right haha
