Just finished this season cant wait for the next!

The Berserk Season 3 release date is both desired and dreaded by fans of Kentarou Miura’s Berserk manga. The fandom heavily criticized the episodes of Berserk 2016 and Berserk 2017 for the animation style. At the same time, the final episode seemed to promise that the future of the Berserk anime will harken back to the Berserk 1997 animation. But the real question is whether there are enough Berserk manga chapters written to cover the third season for Berserk 2018.

just saw this the 2 part where they want to go back to 1997 animation just put me on my ass

I would be thrilled
It would be so god damned good if they did that man.

If they go back to 97, or you know, just use ANY decent style of art that doesn't look like ass, I would be fucking ecstatic.

If they continue it with actual quality 2D animation that's all well an good but the damage has already been done.
unless they completely plan to reboot the series and start from scratch (again) or at least start from where the 97 series left off and also remaster the 97 series on top of that, that's the only way it'll be worth watching or buying the series.

like who the fuck would spend money on a series at that point if it just continues on from where it is.
like imagine having that trash on your shelf to look at.
Mixed bag of 3D cg garbage animation then all of the sudden it does a 180 part way into the story to the quality 2D animation it should have been from the start.

like watching one of those 3D Chinese knockoff Disney movies and comparing it to the real thing.


besides, i feel there's a good chance Kentarou will die before he ever finishes Berserk with the pace it's going at. lol
i'd rather see them make Giganto Makhia into an OVA or movie or something. at least Kentarou finished that.
