how do you have your CPU liquid cooling system set up?

radiator inside, fan outside, fan drawing air through radiator and then pushing out of the case
or fan inside, radiator outside, fan pushing air through radiator and then out of the case?

i feel like this should be obvious, radiator inside.
some people say fan inside works better, others say it doesn't matter at all.

It doesn't really matter. If you have only 1 sec of fan, make sure it's blowing across the radiator.

280mm in the top in pull configuration.
Before I had 140mm in pull+push.

Really depends on case and what aesthetics you are looking for.

Performance wise there is close to no difference other than radiator size and fan speed.

you mean fan static pressure?

Well I meant rpm but yeah SP vs AF is a factor as well

Wrong... radiators have what's called fpi which will also cause a change in cooling properties as well. Higher fpi more static pressure needed

currently have 120mm with both fans pulling

60c idle 98c under load  what a joke

ill try push+pull. i doubt it's going to make that much of a massive difference.

if not then replacing thermal paste.

then if not a 32oz hammer should fix it.

pulling seems kind dumb

radiator gets warm. you pull air from outside. it heats up passing over radiator then goes inside

Change that immediately!!

The radiator is literally not getting any air flow through the fins.

That's how Corsair says to configure their AIOs, actually. Front intake.
