Hello everyone. I have decided to host a playoff bracket pool.

All of the info you need is below. I will leave some options open for discussion.

-16 teams will make the playoffs. Your job will be to pick which ones will win. The winner will be the individual who amasses the highest sum of total points as a result of the correct picks they make. In the event of a tie, the winner will be the individual who correctly picked the Stanley Cup winner.

Points Breakdown Below

During the first round 8 teams will advance to the quarter finals. Correctly picking the advancing team(s) will award you with One point, for a maximum of 8 points. A bonus of Five points will be awarded for correctly picking all advancing teams. Maximum with bonuses for this round: 13 points

During the second round 4 teams will will advance to the conference finals. Correctly picking the advancing team(s) will award you with Two points. A bonus of Five points will be awarded for correctly picking all advancing teams. Maximum with bonuses for this round: 13 points

During the third round 2 teams will advance to Stanley Cup Finals. Correctly picking the advancing teams(s) will award you 4 points.A bonus of Six points will be awarded for correctly picking the advancing teams. Maximum with bonuses for this round 14 points

During the Stanley Cup Final one team will be hailed the ultimate victor. Correctly picking the Stanley Cup winner will award you 15points. Maximum points for this round: 15 points


The above points scheme can be discussed. A finalized version will be me made the official version/points structure fourteen (14) days prior to the start of the first playoff game. The base scheme will stay the same for the most part, with the potential of minor amendments.

Entry Fee

- 100fg per entry. One bracket selection per person. I will set aside a small amount of fg for 2-3 entrants or so for those who have no fg, or can not acquire it easily. Donations to help those who are poor are appreciated, as are donations to the pot.

- Forum gold can be sent to me clearly labelled "KYA bracket pool" along with your complete selections, labelled from the first round, to the Stanley Cup winner. If you would like to use a med I support that fully.

With that being said I would like to ask a mediator to step forward to facilitate the safeguarding and dispensing of forum gold to the winner in the amount of the full sum of the pot. If a mediator is not requested I will take sole responsibility of the aforementioned responsibilities in lieu of mediation.

Excellent. Feel free to make any suggestions. At this stage I am still mulling over the points scheme and may make some minor adjustments.

Looks like fun. If I can get some FG together ill be in. Might have to do some late night Shako runs

Popped in to see if anyone watched that ND BU double OT game with 2 OT goal reviews called no goal and finally BU berries one after getting outplayed 30 straight minutes hard. Crazy game.

For real question, can I make a sorce and get shakos tonight that are worth more than. 25 forum gold or is it just a statement type thing. I miss pre 1.10 days, before the hack fest.. good times doing meph runs all night racking up sojs.

Diablo2 will never be beat in my eyes. Ran mephisto and pindle hundreds of times a day and never got tired of it.

Never sunk more hours into a game. I am playing path of exile now which has some d2 similarities.

Same here man. Still play it at least once a year for a binge stretch cus I can't get into the grind level make 8 bots yay game.. I do like single player or loner it online so I can feel constructive doing meph and pindle lol
