it'll probably be terrible. Going to watch it no,matter what though, I have to.

i was like 12-13 last time i saw deathnote and i just remember thinking it wasnt all that good. but i was like the only kid watching anime at that time so i had no one to talk about it with but it seems like on the internet everyone seems to fucking love it so i guess i should rewatch it.
i just remember there being the one sherlock guy L or whatever that was brilliant and then once he gets solved they just find some 7 year old genius kid to seal the deal and i just remember thinking what a trash show.

So much no...

1 - Not sure exactly what you mean - but what actually happens is much different. L loses to Kira and is gone from the series.

2 - They don't just find him (Near) he was raised in the same orphanage as L and gathered evidence for about four years after L was gone.


Watching it again is. good idea i know 13 year old me wouldn't fully appreciate or even understand this show.

sure seems like the writers just get a L 2.0 out of nowhere with that convenient genius creating orphanage. Still a good show but since 90% of anime is shit anyway, people hype it much more than it deserves.
