It's called a fast trial, idk if they have these in other countries. When you're caught redhanded (and so the outcome of the trial is obvious), it's not a terribly serious or complicated crime, and the accused is in a situation where not solving the issue immediately could be inconvenient (in this case they don't live in Spain and want/need to return to England asap) then a trial can be held in this manner.

whats at least as bad than the actual sentence is the humiliation for these guys
gl calling your family that you wont be coming home and your boss that you cant show up for work :lol:

i wish more countries would handle it like this
