Sup folks,

Need some feedback on a potential EVGA gaming PC build:

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/T4742R

I am upgrading from a 2009 build: i7 920/ gtx 680 etc.

edit; I will be getting an aftermarket 1080 TI.
Just added the FE for reference.

Asus VG248QE 24.0" 1920x1080 144Hz Monitor

you upgrading this as well??

I mean everything looks fine, I would suggest some larger SSDs unless you're pulling some from your existing build.

I thought the 850 pros were top notch when I made the list a few days ago but since then have been looking at 960 pros;

The monitor I chose is bare minimum, I may get a bigger one but not sure if 4k is worth the bang for buck right now.
If I go 4k I want at least 60fps at all times.

Some good info to retain.. M.2 is not useful for games or anything OS related in the matter. It's useful for huge files in CAD and video etc..

While yes the samsung ssds are the best to buy in terms of speed/components, doesn't mean that other SSD manufactures need to be left out.

Even tho it's more than your original, this would be your sweet spot PC if you're trying to focus a build around EVGA (which case I don't get why but okay)
