when I try to run it full screen it errors out immediately

wondering if there is a way to get it to be a bigger window or run fullscreen?

I know there are certain things people download to do it but I'm running the bnet versiona nd prefer to stay away from 3rd party stuff anyways


I guess I could change the res of my monitor to get it that way but ehhhhhhhh

Window mode or install Windows xp.

Right click the shortcut and set all compatibilities with win xp, run as administrator.

Use glide wrapper.

I got it to work in full screen but its still the 800x600 res?

Game doesn't support any higher.

There is a mod out there for increased resolution but I believe it will result in a ban if you try playing on bnet

yeah I saw that

sry but blizzard got lazy and did not upgrade the resolution to a higher point.

Ingame resolution hasnt been upgraded since years ! This should be the main priority in patch 1.15

set your screen to 1280 x XXXX and play diablo2 in windowed mode

but be careful in hc while you hover around with your mouse

Lazy for not bringing a 14 year game at that point to current??

u can also try to add -nofixaspect after -w and then maximize window
It will cover the whole screen but still will be window, like ur broswer does
