I forgot to mention I'm also leasing it.

Maybe that's why the price sounded high.

I was wrong, I was just looking over everything.

The tower was $1000, and the monitor was 240.

After the interest it comes out to be about 1900.

/I only had a few options the choose from, and like I said it was between this desktop, a HP omen, and a few gaming laptops but I don't want a laptop.

The leasing fees was about 600 over a 16 months period.

Although I was planning on paying it off much sooner.

If ya'll still think I got ripped off I will probably return it then.

Interesting

Sorry the post I priced before at 1600 for the tower and 350 for the monitor was the leasing price.

The "Fair market value" Was 999 for the tower and 229 for the monitor, after taxes about 1300 total for the entire set up.

600 for the leasing fees.

If you still think it's a bad deal just on the computer part let me know.

I think leasing a computer (especially at that rate) is a bad deal

That's just me

Yeah you're definitely right. I really was not about to get it, but it's computer or no computer.

My laptop is garbage and about to be tossed, the only game I can even play on my laptop is LoL and it gets overheated in minutes and I can barley touch where the palm rest is.

And I really wanted a computer and have been wanting one for a long time, being a big pc user/gamer.

Maybe I'll just keep it and go from here.

I have no problem in the next 6-12 months upgrading to a much better graphics card when newer games come out.

I'll be using it for games and school and be using it daily.

(If I had 1500 cash to go and build one I definitely would of gone that way and done some research before hand, but sadly I'm not rich)

After doing all the math, I plan to pay it off in 6-9 months vs 18 months.

After it's paid off I can do whatever of course, won't be upgrading it until then which I thought about before I bought it.

And for the most part the games I play now such as Overwatch run on the highest settings with no problems once so ever.

I'm sure any games coming out soon will run fine on it I would only assume until I can upgrade it.

Then it's not a lease, just financed. Alrighty

Stop saying once so ever! Its whatsoever

Overwatch isn't graphics intensive compared to say, Witcher or mass effect

My mistake, if I was to of paid 1000 just for the tower do you think it's reasonable?

Of course building would of been the way to go, but unfortunately I did not have that option.
