I am currently playing on http://europebattle.net/d2/ and at the moment there are not that many classic players. The official servers are completely botted, so i was wondering if there are people who like to join on the ladder on this one?

It has an international realm with good pings for US and Europe. There is a good anti cheat detection system in place which detects bots and the like, although mh, autotele and loader (custom for their server) are allowed.

it sounds pretty cool, at least its a 100% classic community. Never actually played 1.09 so i have to figure out the builds

There's plenty of PVM only priv servers. Median XL which is heavily modded to an almost 100% different game, D2 Resurgence which is "vanilla like" with tons of new features, and Slashdiablo which is 100% vanilla 1.13c but with an ACTUAL economy because they ban bots just about as fast as people can make them, so their botted items almost NEVER reach the economy. Slash is probably the biggest server around, most days there's a couple hundred people online at a time except nights.
