Hello guys,

I am quite unfamiliar about the external SSD, is it a good idea to buy for PoE? Willl it help with loading times or it is just a waste of money?
Any recommendation will help.
Thank you

Yes, it's a good idea to buy for poe. One of the games that benefit greatly from having faster load times. Say bye to long wait to startup and say hi to instant warp screens

Yes, I am playing on laptop, have USB 3.0 port where the speed should be higher, however I was not sure if the external SSD does the same job as if I had one already built-in.

the right thing to do would be to put the SSD inside your laptop, put your OS on it with 2-3 games (poe)
then use an extenal hard drive (1tb+) to store your media such as pictures, movies, you name it
