molten shell is useless, you get like 500 armor which is cut half by acrobatics. Yay lol
snakebites are shit unless you are raider. The poison is shit against trash as trash mob die in 1 or 2 shots anyway. Against bosses you have no frenzy generation so you wont get poison out of them. If you dont use bloodrage you dont have any frenzy gen anyway.. or wtf are you talking about
you can also just unsocket the bloodrage and the dmg will stop.
drillneck just got nerfed by 50% and rare quivers are better anyway.


did you forget to read the 2nd part of moten shell? it prevents 300 damage

obviously you need to generate frenzy with snakebites, you know what goes well with bows? frenzy!
no one is gonna be socketing and unsocketing a gem while playing that is just annoying
there is no nerf that can outdo double dipping projectile psn dps specailly when his not going elemntal or crit.

you talk about unsocketing gems being annoying but rely 100% on frenzy setup for frenzy generation :rofl:
preventing 300dmg isnt worth wasting a gem socket but its what ever. CWDT setups arent that important expect for ic maybe

yeah I guess for a non crit build drillneck is still the best option. Going non crit as ranger bow build is pretty stupid imo as bows have some of the best crit nodes in the tree but I guess its what ever with a legacy reach. Damage should be off the roof anyway.

Going for a cospris will should be the best option for poison though.. snakebites are shit without proper frenzy gen. Gets you a second/third curse and gives you proper poison.

Sorry to butt in guys butt this is an awesome conversation. As someone who only plays HC, and have made it to about level 90 max, I have yet to master a bow build and not die past lvl 60 (was just getting to dried lake when I ripped last year).

Does the above build work on HC? I am not talking about original poster but the discussion you guys are having. I am in love with bows but just can't survive to save my life ever, they are just so dam squishy and rely on not getting hit.

There is a lightning build for a shadow class that was just posted and it looks amazing. A ton of life and ton of dmg. May try it.
