Microphone from experience I used a Samson C01U condenser USB mic. Although that was 6 years ago. Pretty sure Rode NT1A or something is the best nowadays.
Software for windows I use at the moment for all producing and beat making is FL Studio 11.
I used to use cool edit pro 2 for vocals (windows). Although I think logic is best if you have a mac.
Www.soundcloud.com/19ninety is my music page you can see what type of stuff you can create with FL 11 it's a powerful overlooked DAW.

Top plug ins (VsT)

Massive
Serum
Sylenth
All used for making actual sounds like bass, leads, keys etc. All come with a preset bank.

Fabfilter EQ - handy for cutting out certain frequencies and seeing which frequencies a sound contains.

Ozone izotope 2 - EQ, mastering, and basically adding life to the whole mix is possible.

soundtoy echoboy - for all your reverb and echo needs

I second FL Studio, but a free alternative you can try is LMMS: https://lmms.io/
Lots of tutorials available for it as well.

When recording don't forget that your environment is just as important as your mic. Also invest in a pop filter.

thanks for the help so far.
I'm using LMMS and Audacity right now, cuz i can't afford any other software that costs $$$.
Do you have any tips what kind of additional plug-ins i should take? Like he said in the quote below?

What genre are you making?

I love ableton live 9, the options are endless and allows for easy live looping.
