As far as I remember it shouldn't be possible to spawn mace mastery on a pelt with the ilvl that is required for 3 sox, unless it is chosen six times in a row. I'm really uncertain on this though, because it's been quite a few and I can't find a source on this, so any input is welcome.

e: I'm taking about the same phenomenon that makes whirlwind pelts possible.

ilvl required for 3 sockets on that helm is 26+ whereas Mace Mastery can only spawn at ilvl <25

Yeah, but isn't each skill chosen randomly and rerolled up to six times if it's illegal? So that six illegal picks in a row with the last one being Mace Mastery result in this usually impossible pelt.

1.08 version had differy *rules and there are items on no ladder that don't spawn n e more
