Will he stick to the script and 'appear presidential' or will he go off on another rant about the 'FAKE NEWS MEDIA!!!'. Let's see, on today's exciting episode Trump discusses healthcare plans.

I don't see how reading a script makes you presidential...

Inb4 'Obama used a teleprompter' - Yes he did. So fucking what. He didn't behave like a spoilt baby all the time and he was capable of saying intelligent things without someone else writing them down for him.

Where are the insurance companies and healthcare companies in this conversation?

Surely they have some influence on the price of healthcare for the average Joe.

Deductibles higher than 1k are an absolute disgrace. Over here one of the big discussions is the standard deductible (which many parties argue should disappear) of €385,-. Most medical care above this will be covered (exclusions would be physical therapy, psychologists, dentistry, homeopathy, etc).

I pay ~€100,- a month for healthcare insurance, with some subsidy coming back to me due to my relatively low income at the moment (student).

How do these people think that the free market is going to give them more affordable healthcare? Surely the quality of healthcare can and will rise in a free market, but affordability and availability are of no concern to companies who are focused on profit margins.

Does anyone here actually think Trump understands much of anything about the health care system? When Obama and Democrats were working on health care reform, Obama sat at a table filled with Democrats and Republicans, and he answered concerns that Republicans had about the bill. Can you imagine Trump doing the same thing?
