I quit a few months ago? maybe a year now? from the overwhelming amount of toxic Peruvians & South Americans screeching their high pitched, vowel extending, whimsy, pre-pubic, incoherent voices into their mic with the consistent JAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJJA's which have contributed to my everlasting frustration with their kind... I need to know, do they continue to plague our server? Has valve taken an approach similar to Blizzard, where each game installation locks you into a specific server, based upon your mac address?

Have considered playing again, and have heard developers have changed this game DRASTICALLY in recent months.

Mute people that arent helping you with their comms

Think more about what you could have done better rather than what your team could have done better after every game, especially losses

Watch your own replays to cement theories of what you could do better

If all else fails find friends to play with and just play for fun

Dota is easily the best game that is "popular" right now... blizzard doesnt have a game that has a target audience of people with a reasonable IQ anymore. (Sc2 is dead, killed by blizz being greedy control freaks with the wcs systemand bad expansions)

couldnt agree more, and definitely have used the advice before. My issue isn't winning/losing games. It's the community. @4k mmr, how tf can u mute a team mate and expect a gg? I know its nowhere near being considered really good, or just good for that matter, but sorta need a collective team effort when you get out of the trenches right?? Regardless, your advise is definitely valid, and these are not excuses to refute it. Thank you for your input.

pick heroes that can carry urself and doesn't need ur crappy pub team to win for u.

You can actually do this until you start playing 5 man premades, just play mid.

But yeah, i definitely suggest only muting your team when they are irredeemably flaming and literally offering 0 callouts or comments of strategic value. Muting your whole team actually helps with map awareness too and having a super coherent team is super optional at 4k as people will typically know generally when to push with just simple pinging

Anyone else find themselves on one side most of the time? I'm on dire about 80 to 90% of games.
