To use my laptop as a second monitor for my pc?

Depends on the laptop and the graphics card inside it. Macs have an option called Target Display Mode that can do this.

asus intel i7-5500, nvida GeForce 920m, windows 10
Pc is hardwired, with i7-7700k, GeForce Strix 1060, windows 10

Nope, the ports on your laptop work only one way. Macs were designed to have this work from the getgo with thunderbolt ports.

There are a select few Windows systems that have an actual input for HDMI/etc, but that depends on the model of the system. Basically, if the computer doesn't have an HDMI/DVI/VGA input (note: This is different than an output, which virtually all systems have these days), it won't support this.

i have a better idea

setup your laptop near your desktop monitor as if you were going to use it as a second monitor, then set up a remote on it and control it with your desktop

this way you can use the cpu and gpus of both independently

I said screw it and bought a benq monitor on Kijiji for 30$

Next question is...
Am i able to use 2 mouse cursors? 1 mouse per monitor? so i can play 1 game that isnt in windows and other running on the side so i dont have to Alt + Tab to use next game
