So i have a recliner/rocking chair that i need to raise it up a few inches. but i see there are wooden blocks you can use to raise other chairs that have a wooden frame underneath. mine does not have any wooden frame at its bottom. it is a metal frame.

for example i cannot use these

lol good idea but super sketchy lol. it would have to line up perfectly and well, i would have to stop the wheels from moving

its a super cheap recliner, but super comfortable. i need to raise it, but the base is like a skinny metal frame

i was considering getting some wooden planks and then stacking them underneath. and then maybe somehow connect them to the metal frame. but i feel like there might be some easier way

You've become a "peanut gallery" person. Good job. :/

Flip it
Measure it
Get board larger then base/ about a few inches
Use planks to build outer wall and reinforce corners
Drop chair into Frame, use locking caster wheels

uploading pictures now. ive never really built anything with wooden planks. but i "wood" assume that you can just use simple hammer and nails to "build" something. and then the caster wheels you are talking of, not sure what "locking" caster wheels are?
thanks

I'd say this

But just screw upwards from under the board into the current feet of the chair if possible
