I don't like the idea at all, the one thing I do appreciate with this site is the oldschool - style, all the new features and all the extra luxury features does nothing else then slow down the site.

Everybody doesn't have a NASA computer and 3gbps internet, heh, I might be exaggerating a little bit but I am sure you get my point :)

Am I wrong or am I just getting old?

- edit -

If it was there, I would use it

Ah nice, and take in mind it would be an option.....u wouldn't need to use Ctrl+click to highlight all of a user's responses you'd have the option to and if u didn't know what it was u probably wouldn't even know it's there.

Useless. I have at most 5-10 messages from the same person and takes me a few seconds of clicking to select them all.

If you're a trader or Moderator or Mediator who gets 50+ pm's a day a option like this could cut your click-time by 75% depending on how many of the same users are sending those messages.

As a trader who deals with 5+ people a day, those pm's are usually anywhere from 3-7 depending on the circumstances which normally includes: ISO pm, Realm/Game pm, Gold Transfer Pm. That's the usually the minimum amount. And then any sales/questions that happen thereafter all add up. If I could reduce my JSP pm related clicks from 50 to 5 that would be less strain on my wrist and my mouse a major convenience.

So for the average user who makes only 1 or 2 trades a day they might never need or even know a feature like this existed. But for like I said heavy users like me and my new buddy Sire there :D a feature like this would be very helpful.

i could see it being somewhat useful for heavy users that get mass pm's from multiple users each day. since it would be a function i don't have to use, i am not against it.
i would see this being more beneficial as phone support. although as phone support, i can already think of some issues that would have me down-vote this idea as is. i.e. small screens not showing a full inbox page in readable view. you could easily forget about older pm's at the bottom of your first page inbox that would get included into the deletion, if you don't take the time to scroll and check for extra highlights.

i'm not against it, but i personally don't see much reason for this on pc.

It would only apply to the First page of Messages, the visible ones.

i'm not fully aware of how jsp runs on a phone. i was assuming you would have to scroll to view. is the inbox split into more pages on a phone screen?

The inbox when you have enough messages becomes 2 pages on a computer. I don't think a ctrl+click option would work on phone cuz u dont got a Ctrl button idk what the equivalent of a ctrl button would be on a phone.

I should have changed "No, I wouldnt' use it" to.... "Yes, but I probably wouldn't use it much." and "No, I don't think anyone would use this"
