typography is one of the hardest areas to get good at, and 99% of the time it's going to detract from a piece more than it will ever give back, so save it for last.
last being work on your pieces, post them, continue to get gooder than bitch and then start trying to not whiff @ type

One way to cheat it is to use generic "specific few" typos that work with anything. But that way you are not learning anything much, you are just compensating for an area you are not skilled in. Keep it up Trig! :)

yeah I have noticed that typo is one of my worst areas, I always seem to ruin my work with ugly text. but then i feel as if it looks so plain with out it. Do you guys know of any tricks to kind of compensate or fill some blank/negative space?

@slunko thanks, ill keep going :)

Yeah, add more elements, but keep compo in mind while you are adding and don't cluster fuck it. WHAT and HOW you use is totally up to you. I remember you from way back, and honestly it hasn't changed that much. Custom shapes, fractals, c4D's, pentool,... you want to break it up a bit, you know?

Clean this one up and remake the whole "smudging" part for now, get rid of text, fix up your pentooling. You will have plenty of time to bother with typo later.
