hallo.
hab mitbekommen, dass bei patch 1.12 oder 1.13 die cd abfrage von blizzard rausgenommen wurde.

iwie funktionierts bei mir nicht

hab ganz normal diablo 2 + lod mit cds installiert, dann direkt den neusten patch geladen. installation war full inkl. videos.

trotzdem kann ich d2 nicht ohne cd starten. wenn ich die cd beim spielen rausnehme schmiert das game beim nächsten endboss ab.

is manchmal nervig, wenn man mit der sorc grad durch paar souls durchtelt und dann plötzlich die cd laden muss und man deshalb fast verreckt.

gibts abhilfe ?

Musst ein paar .mpq Dateien von der Expansion cd in den d2 Ordner verschieben, weiß aber nicht mehr auswendig, welche.
Google hilft gerne.

- If all required Diablo 2 '.MPQ' files are installed on the
hard drive, the game will no longer require the CD to play.

For users that originally performed a 'Full Installation'
and wish to run without the CD, all '.MPQ' files should
be copied from the Diablo 2 CDs to the Diablo 2 directory.
Most users will only need to copy D2Music.mpq from the
Diablo 2 Play CD and/or D2xMusic.mpq from the Lord of
Destruction CD. Mac users will need to copy these music
files and rename them to 'Diablo II Music' and
'Diablo II Expansion Music' respectively.

Anyone who did not perform a 'Full Installation' will need
to re-install from CD again to ultimately play without the CD.
In this case, a 'Full Installation' is required, followed by file
copy step noted above.

danke für den hinweis.

hab jetzt d2 2x neu installiert, die komische datei von der expansion cd geladen (die von classic ist schon drauf automatisch), trotzdem kommt jedes mal die behinderte cd abfrage. habs mit multiplayer installation only UND full installation inkl. videos probiert. funzt beides net. nutze windows 7.
....wo liegt mein fehler? die google suche ergab auch die oben beschriebene lösung.

dann lad halt vom bnet ...

genau das wollt ich eigentlich net -.-
bleibt wohl nix anneres übrig...

geil....auch das geht NICHT!
habe nem kumpel nen key von mir geschenkt der über meinen bnet account bereits aktiviert war da ern mac hat.....
so prima jetzt kann ich diablo 2 nicht doppelt einlösen
natürlich hatte ich vorher diablo2 wieder deinstalliert. gleich werd ich reif für die klapsmühle.

Lösche halt mal alle D2 Ordner und dann installiere mit dem Bnet Installer. Danach jeweils die Kompatibilitätseinstellungen durchlaufen lassen. Müsste dann auf WinXP Sp2 und mit Administratorrechten ausgeführt werden.
