Is there a way to see what's inside a link before entering it? For example, if someone sends me a link that has a jump scare in the front page but they say that it isn't, is there a way for me to check the link before actually going into it?

Verify link with what? Some type of website verification database?

If you're super OCD about it. Open it up in a virtual machine (vmware player).. lol
