In all seriousness this question actually tilts me. I have a roommate that's like gold V(Yes it's me also) because he has always played on like 10 fps and mechanically is pretty garbage, but he watches any competitive game he possibly can, watches coaching vods regularly, analyzes games all the time, etc. He would be a better coach than literally 95% of the challenger population.

So basically you are low gold?
Good coaches are usually not good players. The pros coaches are not necessarily master/challenger

Wayne Gretzky was one of the worste coach in NHL history. Still the greatest player to ever play the game

He technically knows how to play the game. Now that doesnt mean hes a great player

how is this serious? You claim that watchin competitive games are good for your solo q? watching master-challenger stream might help, watching lcs wont help you. lcs is far from the game you and i play. those guy are 5 guys that play together for a long time. it is like comparing NFL to CFL

The playstyle is just different. Mechanically it will be about the same. The best way to improve is to play and watch your replays. Watching someone stream is like watching basketball games and never picking up a ball. Gotta go play, learn from mistakes and get better.
