So today I took a massive dump, and before you guys tell me

well ukrainianprotein why don't you flush when you let loose of the first turd?
I couldn't because shit was coming out like it was WW2, anywho when I flushed the poop went away but it was clear it got clogged so I did my first test,
Can it go away after a 2nd flush? No then try again, yes then praise the sun.
It hasn't improved after 3 flushes so I let it sit maybe it will loosen up the turds and then it will go. An hour later I decide it's time to test and well it didn't improve, in fact it got quite close to overflowing so I decided to stop and call 911 (mom) because I knew she had 2 snake plungers and asked for one. I forced that snake quite deep into the toilet only to see some black "powder" like stuff come out and when after 30 minutes of fighting and turning the snake and shit I decide to flush and brace for impact. It overflowed and now I'm out of fucking options but maybe to try again with the other snake plunger she has.

My two questions are:
A) What on earth is that black powder? And,
B) What are my other options without having to call for a plumber?

forget the snakes and use a plain ol plunger.

no telling what the powdery stuff is. keep in mind there is an air pocket involved in toilet systems so it's probably just some buildup you scraped off with the metal snake end.

We stopped using the good ol plungers after we have seen how good those snake things work, or worked at my mom's place back when i lived there.

yeah it's just that a regular plunger works well for these types of clogs.

snakes are good for more solid clogs but can be rather useless when dealing with mush. kind of like stabbing goopy mud with a knife...just fills back in lols.

Suction is the key, plunger to go.
If you still have problem flushing call in a plumber with a fish

Flush the toilet to check the drainage. If the plunging eventually drains the bowl, but the clog is still blocking a free flow down the drain, leave the plunger in the bowl and fill the bowl with water again. Fill it to the point it is normally after a regular flush, then plunge again.

If it's nearly overflowing then get a bucket and get most of the water out then use a normal plunger...

Fuck kind of turds you dropping that you need a snake for?
