I have budget of around 400. I'm a pretty experienced angler but have yet to ever own a decent fish finder till now. I do bass tournaments and fish on the weekends or when I can for fun with some buddies. Any suggestions?

Hummingbird helix 5 DI or Helix 7 are probably the best you can get for your price range. (350-400)

I'll check them out thanks. I've done a fair amount of research before asking but I see so many different opinions I didn't know what to choose lmao. Spent so much money on rods and reels and this new boat is left myself so short like an idiot

I just have a cheap hummingbird, but my buddy has the 5 DI and its pretty nice. Has gps and it takes great images of structures and contour of bottom.

Steal one from another boat at a bass tournament.

Hope this helps.
