I think it was 100 000 accounts actually.
So they can change their mind about glide wrapper any time, especially as now the classic team seems to be 2 guys, who seem to introduce changes pretty randomly.

never said loaders are fine, on the opposite - they've always emphasized that loaders are bannable offence.
On the other hand: they've openly said Glide "is fine" (just one example:
https://us.battle.net/forums/en/bnet/topic/20745155126). They even fixed Glide support in 1.14b.
It remains mystery to me why we're not allowed to discuss Glide here.

No. It just basically adds glide interface support to d2 (if we're talking about Sven's glide wrapper) - d2 like many other old games run way better with glide than direct3d.
